Seagate HDD not responding to COMRESET

Hi all,
my personal laptop HDD (3yrs old) is not getting identified. I keep getting the following on reboot and system won't boot.

Earlier I had few SMART errors on the HDD, but not many (I don't remember the exact number) and I backed up most of the data already but I still do have data of over a month on the disk.

I've worked on storage products (in LSI on Megaraid FW dev., aware of SATA/SAS protocols) a decade ago, so I thought of exploring this further. When I connect diagnostic port, I see that the HDD is receiving COMRESET but is not responding.
my questions:
1. Is it because there are many SMART errors and HDD doesn't want to talk?
2. Is there a way to get back the data by clearing SMART logs? (I tried but I get "diagnostic port locked" message)
3. Is there a way to get back the data without advanced data recovery tools?

1. Is it because there are many SMART errors and HDD doesn't want to talk?
Can you provide a log for SMART values on this drive?

I hope you have checked the attached file. For most of the commands I get "Diagnostic port locked" message. Please let me know if I can provide output from any other command.

Also what is the difference between (P) SATA Reset and (H) SATA Reset?
