... but pins 41 and 42 appear to be connected on the PCB, and they then share a common fuse.
Pin 43 appears to be grounded.
I can't see what is happening at pin 44, but it may in fact be N/C (not connected), in which case it would serve no function on the drive and would be ignored.
In short, it doesn't look like anything is wrong. You could test this by omitting the two missing pins from your cable and then testing one of the working 44-pin drives.
