Not sure if it it is a valid measurement, but both read 00.2 on the 200 ohm setting.

If the resistance to ground is a dead short on the +5V rail, I would think that the drive would shut down the PSU.

You can get steadier hands by using a microscope. After a little practice, your hands are automatically getting steadier.
