If you're trying to get data off it yes, if you don't have DR hardware that can read SAS drives. Refurbished server cards are cheap enough.

We're going to need some more information and some background before we can provide much help on this.

What the drive make / model.
By transfer do you mean remove the chip and place on another PCB.
Why did you transfer the ROM.
What was the original fault with the drive.
What controller is it connected to make/model.

You're not going to see a SAS drive in a standard SATA motherboard bios - assuming it's working it will be listed in the sas controller bios.

What's the LED on a computer?

If this is a data recovery job you would do better passing this to a DR professional.

1- first the drive model same as in the attached photo.
2- i transferred the ROM by using ROM Programmer i do it with the normal HDD and it works fine.
3- i did the transformation to check if there is an issue with the original PCB that i could find.
4- the original fault of the drive is that it can not be detected in the BIOS or any other ways.
5- i am not working on SATA port i was working on the Server SAS original port.
6- about the LED it's the SAS Drive's LED which is above the HDD Port.

If the drive is/was spinning it's not likely to be a pcb problem. You can try reading the rom back to ensure is has been written correctly. If the drive spins but isn't recognised you're looking at firmware or physical drive failure, most likely the later on enterprise drives.

i think it's a physical drive failure cause the firmware is written correctly and i verified it
