Permanent unlock of Seagate rosewood

August 30th, 2021, 8:25

Hello
I recently saw a video of how to permanently unlock the Rosewood hard drive. they have tried to permanently unlock this hard disk without the need to use a command exchange.
In this video, they made changes to Module 40 to permanently unlock this hard drive, without making any changes to the original ROM.

What does Module 0x40 do on a Seagate hard drive?
Can you share information on how to do this?

I know this is possible with Sediv software, but how can this be done with MRT or PC3K?
