There is a post on reddit where the OP has what he calls a Maxtor 91296D.

The description in the link states 12GB, but doing the math on from the label is only 8GB. I just want to know if it is possible that this drive does not support LBA for as big as it is. I want to know if I am wrong to say it could be CHS only.

judging by the capacity it must support LBA addressing, also the CHS values on the label suggest that.
