Data Backup solution needed

I want to copy aprox 9TB recovered data on some backup media.
I want to know what will be the best and simple inexpensive way .
NAS box is bit costly solution.
I am looking for a device which I can plug-in to network card and start copying data.
I will be having limited driver support due to older OS on host PC.
So ideally this JBOD solution should be simple without needing specific apps for installation.
This JBOD enclosure also must support 12 TB single disk . I should be able to hook it to gigabit port on server and start copying data at 100MB/sec. or more.
Copying to USB disks is simplest option but single 12 TB USB disk might not be availble besides write speed will be very small.
can someone pls. suggest any practical solution.

If you find a cheap and effective solution let me know ! I think I've tried just about every method now and I've found problems with all. No one single solution was ideal; not at my price point anyway.

Have you looked at something like a recycled MD1200, I'm not sure about drive support though.

The only way to make it "cheaper" is to use an old PC to transform into a NAS, using software, but don't be cheap on the HDD's.
My advice would be to buy a NAS (QNAP for instance) and some HDD's on it.

I have checked MD1200 specs . It has sequential write mode . In my case I have to copy not only large data , there are large no. of files too.
So both reading / writting will be slow.
As suggested by pclab , making a cheap NAS from PC might be ideal solution. I am using Enterprise 12TB disk. My concern is minimum driver requirement and sustained data transfer speed of 110MB/Sec.
I think QNAP / synology are having Home Disk station comparatively they are cheap.
Which is best reliable Single Disk NAS brand supporting NTFS file system.

Having run an md1220 fully stacked with sas drives in raid10 it really wasn't

If you're DIYing also look at truenas and xpenology but I don't know of any NAS boxes which support NTFS - anyone?

Any NAS with 1Gbit network port speed will be always less faster vs USB3.0 interface (3Gbps speed)

Your timely help has always been helpful. I have altogether cancelled NAS option and have suggested customer to focus on USB based solution.
