Hello everybody,

The other day, I opened my pc case and cleaned it up, but unfortunately I hit the hard drive and I may have damaged something.
Here are some pics of what I think I've damaged and if anyone knows if it's easy to replace this part or should I replace the entire pcb.

What were you cleaning it with - a brick ?

Given the flux around the coil I assume you've had a go at fixing it already. It's a very simple component level repair if that's all the damage, swapping the pcb will require a rom swap 8 pins rather than 2.

I hit it with a hair dryer :(
No, I have never tried to weld it, maybe the store that i bought it from repaired it before.
How do i search for this component? the name etc. i can't find it.
Should i try to weld it myself or send to a store to weld it from me?

it is an 1.2uH (micro Henry) inductor, likely with operating current rating of 8-10A.

A quick google of the code brings back suitable components (1.5uh/9a) for less than 1 gbp - available everywhere like digikey, mouser or even ebay for single items. You'll need to remove the one on the pcb and solder the new one on.
