 Post subject: Flash SATA firmware onto SAS Seagate drive?

Has anyone successfully flashed the SATA-flavoured firmware onto a SAS Seagate drive? The specific model in question I'm interested in doing this for is the 16TB Exos X16 (ST16000NM002G). Want to go from E003 --> SN03, or similar.
