Hi

we have here a drive HGST 1TB 5k1000
we swapped 3 times heads and it's always the same
the drive spins up, one click and spins down, also with original heads

attaching the audio file

can somebody advice what's the problem?

pcb swap didnt helped also

What is the need of swapping heads 3 times??

What do the heads look like under a microscope? Drive may have media issues which ruin heads.

This happened mostly with the platter scratched.
