Hello!
I've a WDC WD60EDAZ-11U78B0 with SED that once SA is loaded just reboot itself. So after plugging unlock PCB to get SA access and doing the 1A2 module tip I got back with original PCB to work with it.
If I block SA or 02 have power up with no problems. I managed to get SA modules and not seems to be any problem.

The problem is that if you try to read any sector just reboot and enter in loop: Power on power down after loading SA. I tried to block 02, then allow on RAM, upload 02 and load into utility 190 or T2. Get access to read all heads with no problem, but data is crpyted (I guess because blocking 02 at the beginning).
If blocking UA is writing same behaviour.
Any help is apreciatted...

When you booting drive blocking 02 and loading it back to RAM , translation doesn't come up.
"Rebooting itself" ...."register dance", probably, means issue with 190
So you are in dead loop. There is a way to solve that but not with "unlocked pcb" due of importance original MCU for load security and not with blocking SA access . Solution is - software unlocked original PCB, free access to SA and fixing translator.

Put patient 190 mod to donor drive and check.

I am currently working on a drive with exactly the same symptoms.
Case solved.
I confirm that is the problem with T2 (module 190).
After repair and rebuild, drive read sectors normally.
