no I did not forget, in this case the hdd is encrypted with an encryption that mrt is not able to remove. I therefore need to use the original converted usb pcb to create a map of the heads and read only what I can.

Are you getting power?

I don't have that PCB at the moment to test for you but check you're getting power to the board by connecting up the USB for power rather than the sata power, check the 0 ohm resistor near the usb connector there have been lots of posts about dry solder joints. I believe that's a crystal, AFAIK removing the caps should remove the need to remove the crystal.

yes when connect usb cable withe led poer on and motor spin but on sata port nothing, i have check the solder with tester but nothing the connection are good, I have retry on another pcb (same pcb) and same situation. The guide are this https://www.dolphindatalab.com/how-to-c ... interface/
