WD20EZAZ-00L9GB0 F/W: 4.1TH No User Area

February 25th, 2022, 7:41

HDD: WD20EZAZ-00L9GB0-04.A8H.1-0073004R F/W: 4.1TH

Here attached Full Backup
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zfSLPPBYis1lZbyyWYtnVcHiZ28kW2Oo/view?usp=gmail

When Normal Start HDD it gets ready and immediately goes to Bsy.

When Disabled 02 in Rom then hdd ready then loaded 02 without problem. HDD gets Full ID with Capacity and can read all modules without err including 190. All modules checksum OK in WDMarvel.

When try to access User Area Hdd goes to Bsy state and Restart.

How to solve this issue?

1. With 02 enabled Hdd restarted and goes to Bsy

2. With 02 disabled and loaded to ram hdd Ready. When try to read sector 0 (any Sector) hdd goes to Bsy

3. When Tried to Regenerate Translator, Hdd restarted and goes to Bsy ( 02 disabled and enabled in ram)

4. When tried with T2 Editor in MRT during Translator regen hdd restarted and goes to Bsy

5. When tried with T2 Editor without Translator option hdd keeps Ready. can only read zero sector, when tried any other sectors hdd restarted and goes to bsy

All Modules backed up. PCB is original, No SED and unlocked with MRT 2.1.7.x

Hi,
I have the same problem with one of the hard drives to be recovered. I did the same steps you did but not in MRT, with the help of PC3k and unlocked PCB. If you could help me with the final step, it would be a great help. I tried to get sector access in DE using "Read from utility option" but none of the methods were success. Please leave msg. Thank you

Then ,
I am asking because we all ask for help and most of us help each other ,Once someone solves it ,he should definately tell what was done ,Otherwise this spoils the very essence of a forum

Have to agree with Amarbir on this.. It's a pretty poor show to post a request for help and then just a "problem solved" message without disseminating any solutions found or given, it does nothing to further collective knowledge.

I'm sure GPS31 is, it's something I've seen a number of times from a number of users and I struggle to understand why.
