Firmware for Seagate ST3120212AS (120GB)

April 20th, 2022, 13:12

Good morning,

I have issue with a Seagate HDD and I think it is related to a wrong firmware. I see ST3120212AS as model on the HDD (Barracuda 7200.9 / Firmware AAE) but when I check using Seagate Drive Detect, it says that the model is ST3160212SCE.

The absence of suspicious traces leads me to think that the drive was flashed accidently with the wrong firmware. I tried to get ST3120212AS firmware but didn't found anything.

Can you help me to find firmware for this drive?

Best regards.
