Either clone or make an image of the drive and recover your data from that. Doing so will also highlight any physical errors on the drive that smart might be missing. It might just be a logical problem rather than a physical one. If it's still under warranty return it, I wouldn't trust a drive which has misbehaved anyway.Qnix1 wrote:is there is anyway to repair it while maintaining data? most Diagnostic tools freez when i try to open it and it's not visible on partition tools that i tried.
