Seagate ST500DM009 COMPUTE BSY

May 13th, 2022, 12:04

Hello
I have a problematic HDD.

MDL: ST500DM009-2F110A (COMPUTE)
Family: Pharaoh Oasis

After this HDD is ready, if I do the next thing, it becomes BSY.
ROM Tech patched. However, when entering the utility in PC-3K, SA cannot be read. (Redynes timeout (10000))
Module backup was performed through the terminal.
And I did a translator regeneration.
Now, If HDD is ready and trying to access the sector at the same time, it succeeds, but only the very front part is accessed.
However, the first symptoms did not change.
still BSY :(

ATA(indirect) is also not possible.
Help plz
thanks

Clear congen or patch 93.

By the way, trans regen was a bad idea IMHO.
And, if you haven't taken NRG list into account, you might end up with partial access.

That's what I regret too. :(

Does patch 93 mean SMP?
only check show additional diag msg in terminal?

How to do clear congen?
Sorry I'm a beginner. :(
