ExcelStor CT215

March 25th, 2005, 11:59

Hi,

I am facing a problem with Excelstor CT215 drive. It spins up, but does not move the head.
I changed the motor combo and the power mosfets, but it didn't help.
I have never seen this model before, and I don't know if it could be a problem of the HDA, maybe head defect (it doesn't knock its head as other HDDs), or a problem with the board.

any info is appreciated :)
