Hello all
- To Fabio - PC3000 english version plus training = 8000,00 - to you receive the board in Brasil.
- David Sam - the HDD Firmware and Hdd Sector repair , you can find both at Salvation Data website,
I think that you will not find a "craked version" - the utilities has "DONGLE" protection.
ALso I think that the price in Canada is 7000,00 for the PC3000, but is FOB.

fabio, you could buy it directly from Acelabs, Russia, it will cost ~ 1400 Euros w/ PC3000 + recovery board + ~300 DHL Shipment
The problem here is that in Brazil it will taxes this at ~ 70%, the way you can minimize this taxes is ask for Acelabs to discriminate for you the software as 1000 Euros, and the boards at 400 Euros, ie
So you will pay the taxes only at the boards ~70% from 400 Euros.

I bought their Maxtor Firmware Repairer Pro some time back. So far I couldn't fix firmware problems with any of the drives. They don't provide any updated firmware and the ones they supply are not working with the same spec drives they specify.
But I was able to repair few 2B020H1 drives using their free utility. Some skewing is happening while uploading the firmware to the drive and hence all the files can be recovered using some software but no integrity at all.

I had a special case for data recovery of a fujitsu mht2060at a few month ago.
I thougt from their software description at their home page that "fujitsu repairer pro" could fix my problem.
Ok-we did the correspondence and paid the money(western union) - it took approximately 2 weeks and the software was here.
I know now that it works very unreliable especially the firmware check of the program.
It checks every mod and if it could read the first 512 bytes of every mod - it tells you "fw check-ok!"
It sends errors only if a mod is destroyed from its header that is a bit to unreliable for me.
What I mean is if "fuj rep pro" is able to read or copy the first 512 bytes it tells you everything is ok but some mods are larger than 512 bytes and that is the main problem - if you have bad sectors in the mods it does not
recognize it - I think because it does not analyse and check the right lenght of every special module.
It copies the first 512 bytes and tells you "fw copied ok!"
I checked it with a "not in bios defined" mhs2030at - "fujitsu repairer pro" could only see errors in two mods but there were in sum 7 modules bad.
I think they have a lot of work to fix this with an update.
Hope I could help a little bit
