hello

I have WD20SDRW-11VUUS0 drive
This drive is no spin

I think ROM corruption.
Because it works with other PCB. (no ROM swap)
but no spin after ROM swap.

I want to analyze the ROM, but I can't read the ROM.
How to read ROM?

You can’t read it with a chip reader?

I tried using a socket and a pin cable, but I couldn't read it.

I often find it necessary to solder the ROM onto an adapter board which then plugs into the reader. Have you tried that?

Use same fw version ROM, unlocked, and solder to original PCB
