SCO Unix data recovery, HDD with bad blocks

October 27th, 2022, 18:47

Hi,

I was able to image the 20GB HDD that should have around 18GB of data, it had lots of bad blocks in the front area but using PC3K I can only see around 2GB of data.

The data is coming from SCO Unix server (version 5).

I also tried to see the data using UFS, Kernel for SCO open server, and RStudio without success.

What you have used to read data from SCO Unix devices?

Concentrate your efforts to read better areas with bad blocks.
