 Post subject: Seagate Momentus thin 500Gb I/O error

I am trying to access my data but it showing I/O error. With hdd regenrator it shows mbr damaged. Is there any other way to recover data.

Yes, immediately stop HDD DEgenerator.
Try to clone the drive with ddrescue or hddsuperclone (Linux based).
Or send to a specialist.
