WD10jmvw heads from a wd10jpvt compatibilty question.

April 5th, 2023, 10:29

I need heads and a sata pcb for a WD10JMVW-11S5XS0. I an looking for a WDJPVT sata donor. Which DCM letters have to match and are there any other things to be aware of to get a compatible head set (other than date and country of manufacture). Serial numbers I presume are not important in this case.

Thanks
Gordon

Your SATA pcb you're looking for is: 2060-771823
And you will need to match two letters in DCM for heads compatibility (T2, TJ, V2, VJ)

Remember, you will need to decrypt the drive after converting to SATA interface.
Good luck.
