Resuming a project without overwriting the destination image

I stopped a project in HDDSuperClone while it was in scraping phase and now I would like to resume it.

I provided the image that was used before but I get a warning now before resuming the project saying that all data will be overwritten (see picture in attachment).

How do I resume a project to write to the same file that was used before stopping that project?

It's the first time I use this tool and I'm not so sure what you mean by that.

Thanks. This is what I did as you can see in the screenshot in the original post. I have three files, expansion, expansion.bak, expansion.img. i chose expansion to open the project.

Even after opening the project, the warning that 'All data will be overwritten ' is still there. Can you confirm that, even though I have this warning, it will just append to the destination image and not overwrite it?

I didn't look too close. You mean the will be overwritten message in screenshot? That's hard coded there it seems to warn against selection of incorrect location. It's the same in the video so why would it be different in your case?

In general, if unfamiliar with a tool and it's vital it's used correctly, I would suggest a dry-run with not important drives. I'd never use a tool first time without understanding it and knowing what to expect on a real case.
