Why not include an actual description of the problem (I suppose you have a problem with the drive)?

It can be various problems the motor turns on and off intermittently.
I would start by changing to compatible pcb and copy original ROM to new pcb(and that's after making sure hdd gets stable power).
If you have CLASS 100 clean room first open hdd and see if there physical damage(only pro know how to do it).
