Image

i want to ask...

1. is it possible for me to recover the data by replacing the pcb?
2. how to find the model of pcb i needed as donor
3. what step do i need to take? beside using new pcb and replacing the bios chip

that's all you need, if you're unlucky the heads could be damaged

How do I know the PCB model I needed for the HDD? Do I need the exact same series, same year dan month as previous HDD?

Can I just replace the chip and resolderit without searching for new PCB?

Left PCB looks familiar: HGST/Hitachi
Down south is the exact model number, I would aim for this if it is available.
On the left plastic should be a date/production code barely visible. I would aim for anything near this date, because newer disc revisions could have less heads.
Circled is the chip to program, you need one of the same size/type, not necessarily same vendor

Right PCB: I don't know, but I can see something on the plastic.

the WD pcb has internal bios if my vision is good. try to fix it by replacing the damaged components because its not possible to initialize the hdd without writing the rom again using special tools like pc3k

the other one is a hitachi pcb, you can read the pcb rev and number and find a match, its not an easy task
Send both to a lab, should be affordable.

it's an internal bios, it won't work. dont waste your time. instead you can replace the damaged components and keep the original pcb

but it can for the pcb on the left .. try to find the closest match possible.

its written "smooth L7251 2.2" if im not mistaken

is it safe to buy from here?
https://id.aliexpress.com/item/32903430808.html
the number smooth L7251 2.2 match but i don't know if the code below smooth L7251 2.2 (AACN) should match as well
do you have suggestion on where to buy this cheap, perhaps cheaper price?

Test the preamps. I expect that PCB replacement will be a waste of money and effort.
