Doubt firmware and Smart HDD

Does any software detect my HDD and update the firmware?

I have two original HDDs from WD and Apple notebooks and the smartcontrol and Victoria have difficulty accessing their SMART, unknown appears, only sometimes they detect Smart and Good appears

since 2020 you have been on a quest to find the perfect test to prove to yourself your hdd is ok. don't you think it is time to relax and just do some proper backups?
