Thanks

Try to look at CP's. If I am not wrong, CP8, CP10, CP11 and CP14.

You will also need to generate a new translator.

Or you can edit them with an hexa decimal editor ...

Iv've checked the manuals and you need to copy/alter CP7, CP8 and CP14. Also remember that you will have to rebuild the translator.

There is also the software way, bu removing all sectors from the selected head inside PC3K utility for the drive.

Read chapter 6.7, page 11 of your PC3K Quantum manual :o

Remember D540X-4K = Maxtor using Quantum (bad) technology

Hi David.

Aren't you from Salvationdata ?? :)

About the manual, I understand that registered PC3K users can download their manuals from to Acelab anytime, so there is no reason to ask here.

Everyone that ask have a "very high possibly" of being using a bootleg version which nobody should supoort at all. That is wahy I only point the page and chapter

BR comes from Brasil, right? And BG comes from Bulgaria (the poorest country in Europe). And also from the song:

BeGging man is begging bred...

Let the chinesse guys do there job and we do ours.

Hi BGman.

Believe, me, when it comes to poorest countries contest, no one is able to beat Brazil :(

A regular worker receives $100 / month here, to sustain families of 5+ people.

But even with that kind of situation, I still believe that piracy (and supporting piracy) is not correct and that our poor situation will not justify such acts.

If someday you buy PC3K, I would be glad to help you as much as I can

Regards,

-BR-

Hello,

BR speaks from my heart.
I also used a pirated version for some weeks, tried it then ordered my legal one. I claim that a man deserves the wage for HIS work, and not for somebody else's work. And ACE works hard on it (I don't wanna say they are perfect).
And I also had to dig deeply into my pocket to purchase the complex.

I hope you understand.
