I would like to check (and probably correct) the alignment of 2 striped MS dynamic disks. (HDDs)
To that end I wuld like to get the partition offset info from the 2 disks.

MS has (or had?) this to say on the subject:

Dynamic Disk Partition Offsets: dmddiag.exe -v
The command-line utility Dmdiag.exe is used to determine the partition offsets of Windows dynamic volumes.

Important: Neither the output of the wmic command listed earlier nor any other tool designed only for basic disks reliably reports starting partition offsets of Windows dynamic disks.

The tool is available in the support tools folder of Windows Server 2003. In Windows Server 2008, the tool has been renamed diskdiag.exe.

More/similar info:

Apparently, this file/s is part of the Windows Server 2003 (2008 etc ?) Support Tools
So far I have had NO luck finding either dmdiag.exe or diskdiag.exe

But my question is this:
Server 2003 etc are 'old news' and there is probably a newer file or app that accurately repots Dynamic Disk info??
This forum is basically the only one I know of where I might get an accurate, informed reply... hopefully.. :)

"Why are you using the old Dynamic disk/s and not Storage Spaces or ....? "
The disks are SSHDs and I do not want to lose AHCI.
The disks reads are cached to a small Optane drive by a file aware caching system, leaving write speed as my main concern. SSHDs in RAID dont lose performance in write as they do in Random Read and Striped Dynamic Disks win out over Storage Spaces for write speed.

Yes-yes I know I'm twice as likely to lose the data bla-bla-bla. Thats not a concern is this case.

That said; I'm open to suggestions.
