there is a serial port on these but no terminal running on it similar to seagate and samsung.

Thanks fzabkar! 8) which was dead slow in reading, the health was 100% so I gave slow reading fix on WDMarvel voila! The hdd became normal and started reading at full speed! once again Thank You! Fzabkar
BTW! Please give me a solution for this hdd too which I mentioned earlier in this post.
Not even detecting on windows and devmanager just spins and makes a click continuously every 5 seconds and then spins down and then retries and spins down. Any solution :please: :beer:
