 Post subject: Hitachi DeskStar IDE doesn't spin

Hello. I have this Hitachi DeskStar IDE 200gb mdl number HDT722520DLAT80. I'm using it in an old HP system. It started failing when I used a certain flash programmer software. I took it out of the unit and noticed it's not spinning. I saved from hddguru some pages regarding similar models and tried probing the hdd board. But I couldn't find the fault. Any help/directions much appreciated. thanks.

Location: on lifes edge
Make sure the fuse on 12v/5v lines isn't blown
