Hi folks,

Just wonder if anyone have an idea how to deal when the WD HDD have 190 issue. cannot read any data from copy0 copy1
but the drive is accessible, get ready and user data accessible, check all heads are ok. I do not want to perform data extraction if 190 is still bad.

Thank in advance.

You mean just perform the data extraction ignore the bad 190?
I am doing that by UA lock and uncheck relocation also TLER config, just wonder if any safer way or better solution to deal with this.

Thank you.

Just Lock UA, I would suggest you don't edit anything else in FW for these models.
If you try to read 190 with MOD30 blocked and ignore errors are all sectors bad? If so, PBA may be your only method of recovery.
