Hello, I need some help with reducing the speed from 6 GB/s to 3 GB/s for the Seagate HN-M101MBB/LC2 drive.
I know that similar things can be done with Hitachi drives using Niagara, so I’m wondering if there is something similar available for this Seagate drive.
The reason I need this is because the HDD caddy I installed in place of the former DVD-RW (ODD) does not recognize drives that run at 6 GB/s, while it correctly recognizes drives at 3 Gb/s. However, those 3 GB/s drives I have are of unsatisfactory capacity, and this Seagate is 1TB in size.
