Request : BoardView for WD PCB 2060-800041-003 REV P1

June 10th, 2025, 12:57

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a BoardView or schematic file for a Western Digital PCB with the following part number:

2060-800041-003 REV P1

The board is from a WD USB external hard drive, and I'm trying to either repair it or convert it to SATA to recover data. If anyone has the .brd, .bv, or any related diagram, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance!

If the symptom is no power, the usual cause is dry solder joints at the zero-ohm resistor adjacent to the USB connector. Reflow the solder and you should be OK.

I just made an account to say thanks! I suspected a power issue but finally took a second look with my new microscope and sure enough, that's the issue! Reflowed the solder and it works, no board swap needed. :D
