I need a big big favor please
Am in the process of recovering a USB Toshiba portable HDD - the 25Q80EWT ROM is valid but USB bridge FW is not.

Need 25X20CL dump from working Toshiba MQ04UBD200 G0090A PCB.
My chip is blank (all 0xFF). Marvell 88i1017-NDB2.
It would be awesome if anyone could please clip and dump their 25X20CL?

You could instead just convert it to SATA PCB G4311A. You only need to swap the ROM over.

yeah, I know but I'll have to order the part from specific website and wait quite some time.. ideally we need to fix the drive by tomorrow evening. That's a challenge.

having that 25X20CL dump would be awesome.. at least to try..

Thanks for the dump. I've tried to flash it back.. unfortunately chip is dead.. I'll have to order the donor PCB.
Pretty sure it will be ok with a PCB swap.
Finger crossed.

which chip is dead? the 25x20? or the bridge?
