While using FASTERASE with MHDD, mains power failed. On start up again no access to hard disk. Reads 0 LBA. Is the drive now beyond use??

Any help appreciated.

Just unlock it with the password you have set. Or run fasterase again.

Thanks for the quick reply. tried your suggestion, still no joy. pressing F2 returns drive not ready.

Then this is another problem (drive has some damage in the system area for example).

Thanks again, I tend to agree with your comment. I'll do some ATA command revision before I venture any further.
