Let's study IBM !!!

July 14th, 2005, 5:59

Hi folks.

I have some experience in recover some brands, but now I'm starting to study IBM problems.

I have four disks with a similar problem : No spin, probably caused by a storm surge.

Models, IC35LXXXAVVA07, 20-60-80-120

I changed card using Acelab manual instruction about finding a correct card.

Now they start spinning, begin to calibrate, but don't end calibration.

Looking (just one) into pc3k, some open modules were faulty, but after repair of them nothing changed.

I understood that problem probably is in adaptives. What should I do ?

A) correct adaptives ? How ?
B) repair original card ? What components ?
C) transfer memory form original to spare ?

Thanks for the help.
