Is there more information available on the command line switches and syntax? In particular, the erase and scan commands. The FAQ, and MAN command do not have enough detail.

I believe there is no other switches other than those described in the manual…

I'm in the middle of an erase of a 200gig Maxtor drive, so I can't check the MAN command results right now. What is the syntax for the following from the FAQ?
Q10: How can I fix delays on my HDD (red and brown blocks)?
A: Use erase, then scan+erase waits, then scan+remap
