Sounds like the label of the 12Gb GAP has been placed on the 6GB MAP.

Has the drive been opened or cover plate removed ?

Does the 6GB drive scan in MHDD ?

I can not read or verify thru mhdd from starting sectors of drive...(from 0 to 1000(approx))show xx(uncorrectable ecc) .
then i check from 1000000 sec ,it is verifies thru mhdd ..but very slow lots of green and also after some sectors clicking sounds occurs .. :( and do not verify.

Hello,

the drive's PCB has been replaced from a 6014GAP.
Find its original board if possible!

regards,
pepe

I would suggest that if pcb is wrong not one sector would read.

Friend, does pcb have a label describing fw version ?

Hello,

This is not true in this way.
Once I had to replace the PCB on a 6014MAP since the controller was burnt out by misaligned connecting.
I replaced the board from a similar drive, it was reading all the stuff, but in the image there were shifts I had to repair to access data correctly.
BTW the model number is stored in ROM within the processor, consequently the board IS from a 6014MAP.

regards,
pepe
