If a Western Disgital Hard drive is cliciking and u dont want the data u want the hdd to be ok what are the solutions for such a hdd .

i use pc3k isa

Thanks for reply Samo but i am trying to ask what could be the different problem and their solutions in WD.

Like i have a hdd which is clicking as soon as u connect the power in the hdd and the clicking does not stop .

So What can be the possible solution for this kind of hdd ..

Yes, throw them away if you don't care about spending a lot replacing the bad heads!

I have found the solution u can disable the defective head and repair the hdd no need of throwing the hdd or replacing the defective head
