revitalizing hd with smart reallocate table full

Hi!!
I have 4 old hd with the smart table reallocated full, and i was able

in recovering they with only using mhdd
these hd have weak(not bad) sector, so many time i experiment

slowdown, crc errors, etc....
Chkdsk /r /f alwys give me different result: sometime some sector are

marked as bad, sometime chkdsk recor them, btw the file access is

always unstable.
After use of the following procedure I was able in deep testing these

hd (24 ore test for every hd) with excellent result!!
1) run mhdd, perform a normal (do NOT enable relocation) scan, a log

file with all the warning/weak (red and brown) sector is generated,

print this file...
2) now on every weak sector (refer to the precedent log):
a) erase from 1^ weak sector to 1^ weak sector.... If you don't

perform this individual erase sometimes the successive makebad

function does fails, even a full erase of the entire disk will not be

able in assuring regoular work of the successive makebad command.
b) use makebad from 1^ weak sector to 1^ weak sector, this operation

will transform weak sector in UNC(uncorrectable bad sector).
c) repeat this procedure from a to b for every weak sector you have

got (refer to the log you just printed on point 1)); this may be a

very time consuming operation, btw it work 100%
Now under window re-partition hd, reformat it using full (NOT fast)

format.
d) now performing chkdsk on this hd will tell you that hd has many bad

sector, but from this moment OS no longer will access these sector and

your hd will operate 100% with no problems!!!

If some of you with a little C program experience wanna help me, we

may automatizate the procedure of manually erasing every single weak

sector: we only have to take the file log on point a) to generate a

batch file who may run under mhdd

A prayer for the MHDD auther:
Is not possible a little modification to make possible performing in

batch the "makebad" command?

Thanks to all!!!

Hi!!
I don't understand english very well, so I hope my answer will be pertinent....
You wanna know what I wanna to do?
Every people wanna repair bad sector, while I wanna create it...... ;-)
Well!!! Consider the follows:
-) I have NOT Pc3000 and never I'll be able in buying it, it's over my possibility, I may use only freeware utility.
-) I had 4 old hd (smart table indicate that no other relocate sector is possible...) with weak(not bad) sector, after manually marking as UNC these weak sectors, all hd now works 100%, I have try for every hd a full 24h exercize: using a batch file to copy data, fill hd, then delete and repeate..... HD!!! now works 100% with no problems.!!!
-) So now I wanna someone help me to write an utility able in making UNC sectors via command line, so I may automatizate may procedure....(the makebad command on MHDD is interactive: I have to answer yes every time, then manually insert the number of the sector I wanna mark as UNC, and does not permict batch processing)....
Theorically, I'm completelly wrong...... BTW pratically I have recoveder (till now) 4 hd......
BYE!!!

Does anyone wanna test it?
This utility in NOT for people who have got pc3000, really superb but expensive.........
