Just curious about swapping heads on a WD400BB, I know the actual swap is no big deal, and I know about what needs to be matched in the DCM. However, getting the axis angle right is killing me. Many times the drive will start to squeal due to the heads coming in contact with the platter, and no matter how I try to adjust the axis, even using the methods described on this site, it still clicks and squeals. Obviously, I don't want to keep doing that, and I was just curious if anyone else has any suggestions or maybe I'm doing it wrong.
