toshiba mk3025gas diagnostic help, plz!

i have an ibook g4 with his hdd dead. no clicking no spin noise(aparently) it doesnt mount on osx, but repair soft recognize.
it is a hfs+ format drive.
im thinking on using some mac based soft to clone the drive in order to recover data. but im not shure wich one.
i have one tha let me si the block contents. some idea?

I dont understand what ur trying to say ur saying that the hdd is not spinning means no power in drive and u want to recover data from it ?
if thats the case there is problem with ur pcb change it or repair it .

Hi,

lseba didn't say HDD is not spinning. He said there is no spin
noise. When software recognizes the HDD, most likely PCB is OK. Even
FW shoud be OK.
To clone such HDD I think the best software is Recover soft's MEDIATOOLS.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
