Hello,
Would anyone be able to help with information about the serial port on Seagate disk drives?
I am particularly interested in 2.5" disk drives but any other information would also be welcome.
- pinout / Rx-Tx-Gnd pins,
- settings / Protocol, baud rate, number of bits, parity, etc.
- data access and possibly instruction set that it accepts,
- any other information anyone could spare ;-)
The user manual doesn't mention it (of course).
There are a number of serial interface diagrams floating on the internet but none seem to specify the disk drive side of things.
Thank you in advance, even for fragments of info. I would love to experiment with it. You never know, there may be a treasure trove somewhere under there.
:-)
