Hello i have many IBM clicking drives that i need to repair that is without changing the heads just by disabling it how many of u have succeeded in disabling bad heads and repairing IBM clicking hdd .
Any tips for repairing these hdd will be greatly appreciated .

salam alekm u i had hitachi same case u may wait for a while after start it it may stop clicking and it may not be bad head it may be badsector in begining u may try to cool it as i notice that when it works after stop clicking it start clicking again as power ic gets heat try to cool it using fan or cooling heat sink u may freeeze it will be better
