Maxtor Problem

I have hdd that shows Maxtor 2f020j0 VBM51J80 where its orignal ROM code is VAM51JJ0 , i have changed pcb but no effect . I checked the firmware structure all modules are ok . So where is the problem ?

Try VAM loader and check the modules.

Actually he will see the same, because VBM51J80 and VAM51JJ0 occupy one and same place on the drive.

The drive is originally 20gb i will chk it with the VAM loader and post the results here .
