Hi

I get an error "code 65=shock sensor fault detected" on a seagate barracuda 7200.7...does anyone know where is that sensor?...inside HDA?....on PCB(I looked on PCB but can't find it anywhere)?

Or maybe it's a "false alarm".....

Thanks

Hi

Yes Starling, thanks for reply, I allready read that article but there it's about IBM drives...mine is seagate...and I know for sure that the drive was't dropped, that's the strange thing....

I get this error only in level 8, Packwriter Commands, and when i try these 2 commands: 8/C15 and 8/C26....BTW can u be so kind to explain to me what it this Packwriter in seagate drives?...what does he do in the seagate firmware?

Thanks
