maxtor athena rom file needed

salam alekm hello i have maxtor athena hdd reads with no serial and last letter in firmawre is z its model is 2B020H1110511-WAH21PB0-A5FBA-3AF6 i got ldr file from hddguru files but when i choose load rom and overlays gives error when loads only overlays it load it and z letter change to 0 but still cant start utility still gives error i think this because i have only ldr file not rom file or what plz help

Well, first to do is to backup everything possible. modules and modules group. If it's possible, I suggest you create a new loader file and find out it's checksum. For Athena I think, the simplest way is to overwrite the Data Copy 0 and Data Copy 1 using PC 3000. This modules group must be written from its own module group (taken from the damaged HDD itself).

After that you can regenerate translator and recalculate the checksum for P-List, G-List and else.

Dont rewrite DATA COPY group modules , bcz the group modules contain a bunch of modules in it that also includes the "A" class modules . I suggest u use the best loader and chk for bad modules and rewrite only those that are bad .
