salam alekm hello i erased p and glist for maxtor ares then serial is lost and firmware ends with z no backup help

As usual - safe mode, loader, rewrite corrupted modules, regenerate translator if needed.

yes selfscan isnt one and only choice, but sometime its the last choice. 8) :!:

Selfscan cannot fix corrupted modules it only fixes bad sectors and slow sectors .
