 Post subject: Matching Maxtor Donor Drives

Hi - It is my understanding that two criteria can be used to match a Maxtor donor drive:

The Code should match along with the third character in the X,X,X,X values. Also, to match the head configuration, the second character of the Serial Number should match. Are there any other matching criteria that anyone knows about?
