I'm not connected to this site but.... Maybe we could have an area on here for the most technical and knowledagble people? :!:

Something along the lines of the HddGuru test.. For example if you pass the new test you can join?

hddguru, I do not see any technical issue with this, but is it really needed? I mean, what kind of topics shall we discuss there?

Sorry to say ..But... I also want to learn and also share my views and thoughts and knowledge on data recovery. However "SOME" info you would not want to share or be made searchable on Google (Public) for example.

Who reads these forums and feels a little bored with it? Who wants to read about

1: Firmware Reverse
2: Firmware UBA structures and boundaries
3: Self Servo Write
4: Factory SelfScan and how to make it better
5: Share some "Real" info
6: Ask for help , give help on topics that are not normally covered?
7: What the hell is TAZ mode ...? What are IAD's What are IBI scripts

Anyway its just a thought for the future

Im sure you were a student of HDDs once, everyone has to learn from somewhere. I thought that was partly what this forum is about???
